Music Valley Wildflower Extravaganza - April 2017

We'd been waiting for a good, wet winter to visit Music Valley, rumored to be one of the best wildflower viewing areas around. We knew this was the year. We were not 
disappointed...

    1. This truly was an exceptional year. I wonder if we will ever see it like this again. My allergies were just as bad as the flowers were beautiful though;-) Small price to pay!

  2. The desert is hot, dusty, dry and immense! In between all of that are these impressive flowers. Colorful blooms in fragile, spindly stems and prickly, hearty succulents exploding!
    Your pictures are just fabulous and I know you enjoyed every moment of capturing them so perfectly. Hey, you even know all their names! Good for you!
